Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2025, at St. Bernard Catholic Church honoring the life of Betty June Theriot, 76, who passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM on Sunday.
Rev. Brad Guillory will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift bearers will be Stephen Castillo, Ryker Begnaud, and Raelynn Begnaud.
Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
She found immense joy in supporting her children and grandchildren, attending all their events, always cheering them on from the sidelines.
Beyond her family, Betty had a passion for gardening and fishing, activities that brought her peace and happiness. She loved sharing these pastimes with family and friends, enjoying every moment spent in their company.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clement Theriot; children, John (Cynthia) Theriot and Holly (Hoyt) Theriot Begnaud; grandchildren, Sarah Theriot, Emily Theriot, Hanna Begnaud, Breanna Begnaud, Ryker Begnaud, Raelynn Begnaud, Bella Begnaud and Rylie Noel; great-grandchild, Stephen Castillo; brother, Joey (Michelle) Richard; and her sisters, Janet Melancon, Debra (Waylon) Bertrand and Pattie (Larry) Dillard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Audrey McGee Richard; sister, Brenda Buxton; and her nieces Kerri Theriot and Susan Berard.
Pallbearers will be Hoyt Begnaud, John Theriot, Brian Theriot, Anthony Guilbeau, Joey Richard, and Kevin Bourque.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shane LeBlanc, Jeremy Broussard, Stephen Castillo and Ryker Begnaud.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
