Betty Marie Wagner, age 86, passed on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Abingdon, VA. Betty grew up in Pulaski, VA and moved to the Lebanon area in 1987. She and her husband, Willis, lived in several places including Chilhowie, Glade Spring, and Kingsport for several years. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Tazewell E. and Edith Sirt Sutphin; son, Larry Wagner; five brothers, Emory, Everette, Maynard, Phillip, and Vernon Sutphin; and sister, Mildred Blankenship.

She is survived by her husband, Willis Wagner; three daughters, Debra Sims, Sherry Cross, and Michelle Wagner; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Tim Bird officiating. Interment will be held privately in the Colonial Chapel Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
