Betty Jo (Nanny) Wright, 89, passed away on Tuesday evening, December 16th, 2025, at her home in Granbury with her family by her side. She was born on February 15, 1936, in Waxahachie, Texas to Lloyd and Lottie Crum.
Betty was a member of the CenterPoint Church in Granbury. She had a servants heart and was a prayer warrior. "Nanny" loved her family dearly and she adored her grandkids. One of her most favorite and enjoyable things to do was when she would go to have her nails done and her hair styled.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ray Crum and Bobby Crum, her daughter Karen Pope, son-in-law Hank Pope and daughter-in-law Angela Wright.
She is survived by her husband of (74) years, James (Jim) Wright, three children, Thomas Wright and wife Pam, Laurie Roberson, and Dwight Wright; (12) grandchildren, (33) great-grandchildren; sisters-in-laws, Lanelle Crum and Martha Brantley as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, at CenterPoint Church, 2201 Commercial Lane in Granbury, TX. 76048

Praying for the family of Mrs. Betty during this difficult time. I always enjoyed getting to see her. She was always so happy and smiling. I loved getting to chat with her about all the little things in life. She will be greatly missed.
