Betty Ann Yoder, 97, of Goshen died Monday, April 14, 2025 at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born April 11, 1928 in Kosciusko County to Artie and Bertha (Beigh) Montel.
She is survived by her children, Laura (Robert) Holloway of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, James (Lois) Yoder of Middlebury, Edwin (Teresa) Yoder of Goshen, Margaret (Bud) Barnell of Seneca Falls, New York and Mary (Jeff) Douglas of Tallahassee, Florida; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Rarick of New Paris.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband, Bill Yoder; sister, Bernice Fisher; and brothers, James and Earl Montel.
Mrs. Yoder was a loving homemaker and worked for several years at Fairfield Community Schools. A member of West Goshen Church, she enjoyed many activities with her Sunday school class. Her favorite "job" was volunteering at Greencroft.
A funeral service will take place Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 3 p.m. with one hour of visitation prior beginning at 2 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. The service will be lived streamed via the funeral home website.
Burial will follow at Rock Run Cemetery, Goshen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to West Goshen Church; https://westgoshenchurch.org/ or Gideons International; https://www.gideons.org/.
