In Loving Memory of Bettylynn Allberry
December 28, 1956 – October 21, 2025
Bettylynn Allberry, 68, of Sturgis, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on December 28, 1956, to the late Bud and Ruth (Lovelace) Gibson, Bettylynn lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and joy.
A devoted homemaker, Bettylynn had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures-camping under the stars, browsing flea markets and festivals, and discovering treasures at garage sales. She was an avid collector of dolls, stuffed bears, and figurines, each one reflecting her playful and nurturing spirit.
Bettylynn's heart was as big as her smile. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, especially to those in need, and was passionate about supporting the homeless in her community.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Allen Hahn.
Bettylynn's legacy lives on through the many who loved her dearly: her husband of 21 years, Terry Carner, whom she married on June 25, 2004; her son, William Allberry; stepchildren, Jeremy Carner and Charity Carner Palmerton; and her cherished grandchildren-Jetti Brown, Savannah Allberry (whom Bettylynn lovingly raised), Gunner Allberry, Michael Allberry, Stazia Allberry, Zoe Allberry, Baylee Carner, Grace Palmerton, Emma Palmerton, and Ryan Palmerton. She was also blessed with one great-grandchild.
Bettylynn will be remembered for her boundless love, generosity, and zest for life. Her warmth and compassion touched everyone she met, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
