Beulah Dole Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes - Delta Chapel on Jan. 21, 2026.
Beulah Irene (Vestal) Dole, age 100, from Levering, MI passed away with her family by her side on January 18, 2026. She was born on January 3,1926 to Jepthy and Mary Edith Vestal in Hartford, Iowa. She was very proud to make it to 100 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Lloyd Dole, her parents and older siblings, Glen, Waunita and Dorothy, and son-in-law, Wayne Kreiner.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Dole) Kreiner, son Terry (Cindy) Dole, granddaughters Kara Stewart (Ray Stover), Kori Bell (Curt Van Avery), grandsons Weston Dole and Zane (Jessica) Dole. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Gaven Dole, Megan and Ethan Dole, Juno Stewart and Aven Bell.
Beulah grew up on a farm in Missouri during the depression. She left the family home at age eighteen to work at a munitions plant in Burlington, Iowa and was an original Rosie the Riveter during WWII. While working there, she met Lloyd on a bus, and they dated for three months before marrying on July 19, 1945.
Lloyd and Beulah lived in several different states around the country moving for Lloyd's work as a Millwright before settling in Lansing, Michigan where they raised their family. Beulah retired from the State of Michigan, and they moved to the cottage they built together on Douglas Lake near Pellston, Michigan. They spent their summers at the lake and winters at their home in Panama City Beach, Florida. Together, they loved to travel and took many vacations by car throughout all of the United States and Canada. They enjoyed gardening and canning during harvest and shared the bounty with their family. Beulah was Memo to all of the family after becoming a grandmother. The care and wellbeing of her family and being together was always of most importance to her.
The pall bearers are Weston Dole, Zane Dole, Gaven Dole, Ethan Dole, Ray Stover and Curt Van Avery.
A private family service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Okemos, Michigan where she will be laid to rest.
