Beverley Rothe Obituary
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in St. Peter, Illinois with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Ryan Meyer will be officiating. Interment will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may go to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or St. Peter Lutheran School Tuition Assistance Fund or the donor's choice.
Beverely was born on September 8, 1938 in Vandalia, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Hildegard (Braasch) Wasmuth. She married Eldon Rothe on January 1, 1955 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Shobonier, Illinois. Her hobbies included embroidery, sewing, including quilts for each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cooking for others, and caring for her family. Another one of her many hobbies included designing homes.
She is survived by daughters: Jody (husband Keith) Storck of Farina; Jan Jameson of San Angelo, Texas; son: Jay (wife Kelly) Rothe of St. Peter; brother, Charles "Shorty" (wife Judy) Wasmuth of Vandalia; five grandchildren: Katie (husband Corey) Lotz; Clint (wife Erica) Storck; Scarlett (husband Joe) Vanzo; Justy Rothe and Jaci Rothe; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Hildegard Wasmuth; husband, Eldon Rothe; and son-in-law, Robert Jameson.
