Beverley J. Sipes

Beverley J. Sipes, age 87, of Indianapolis, passed away March 18, 2024 surrounded by her family.  She was born in Indianapolis on March 22, 1936 to Cecil and Lavada Hayworth. Beverley was married to her high school sweetheart Robert Sipes for 69 wonderful years.  The two were blessed with three children: Michael, Robert, and Patricia. 

Beverley attended IPS #21 and Arsenal Technical High School.  She then went on to work at Osco Drugs for 35 years before retiring.
Beverley was a devoted wife, loving mother, and amazing grandmother and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed hosting family get-togethers, working in her flower beds, bowling on multiple leagues, attending her grandkids and great-grandkids events, and making people laugh.

Beverley is survived by children Michael (Carol) Sipes and Patricia (Charles) Newby; grandchildren Michael R. Sipes, Milford R. (Nicole) Harber, Robert (Elizabeth) Harber, and Shauna (Albert) Lahrman;  great-grandchildren Michael M. (Heidi) Sipes, Kennady Sipes, Milford D. Harber, Quinlynn Harber, Jeffery Harber, Kali Harber, Noah Lahrman, Nick Lahrman, and Sophia Lahrman, as well as many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Beverley is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Sipes, parents Cecil Hayworth and Lavada Hayworth Dunham, infant son Robert, sister Patricia Miller, and brother Edward Hayworth.

Visitation will be March 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM with service to follow at 1:00 Memorial Park, Flanner and Buchanan 9350 E. Washington St, Indianapolis 46229.
