Beverly J. Benson, 73, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born on September 26, 1951, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Lawrence May and Jean M. (Graham) Ringler.

Beverly was a stay-at-home mom who loved being a mom, taking care of her home, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching game shows, playing along with them. She also enjoyed watching the older movies, mostly westerns.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband; James S. Benson, Sr., brother; Kevin Salsman, and brother-in-law; Jesse James Benson.

Beverly is survived by her sons; James S. Benson, Michael J. Benson, and Eric A. Benson, grandchildren; Glenna Decker and her husband Chad, Clair "Bubba" Benson and his wife Taylor, and Emmalynne Benson, and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister; Katherine Benson, brothers; Steven Salsman, James Salsman and Fred Ringler, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
