Beverly Ann Bignell, age 80 of Baldwin, WI. Passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2025.
She was born May 18, 1945 in Lake City, MN one of eleven children born to Edwin and Luella (Fick) Heitman. Beverly grew up on a farm near Nelson, WI. She was a Durand High School graduate.
On February 1, 1964 she married Reuben Bignell in Wabasha, MN. Made their first home in Pepin, WI. Then they resided in Nelson, WI prior to settling in Baldwin,WI, more than twenty years ago.
Beverly was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Baldwin. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved reading, riding horses, “old” Country Music, and dancing.
Preceded in death by her parents; a brother; a sister; and a son-in-law Scott Snapp.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Reuben; children Barry (Annie), Sheila Snapp, & Becky (Scott) Mortel; grandchildren Ashley, Mike, Alicia, Kayla, Brianna, Jenna, & Mckenna; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters; and four brothers.
Memorial Service 1 PM Wednesday, September 24th with visitation one hour prior at the O’Connell Funeral Home, Baldwin.
Interment Porcupine Cemetery, Arkansas, WI.
