Beverly Joyce Borchers, age 85, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Serenity House in Oregon. She was born on August 17, 1939, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of George and Mary (Larson) Baker. Beverly married Roe L. Borchers on August 16, 1958 at the Monroe Center Community Church. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2023.

Beverly was born the beloved daughter of a hardworking farm family, and she carried that strength and dedication throughout her life. Together with her husband, Roe, she built a beautiful life rooted in love, faith, and the support of family.

Bev cherished her family above all else. She treasured the many vacations they shared—Disney World held a special place in her heart, filled with laughter and magical memories. A devoted grandmother, she kept “Bevie’s Café” open at all hours, always ready with a warm meal, a sweet treat, or a listening ear for her grandchildren.

Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by daughters Lori (Al) Erickson, Becky Borchers and Nancy (Wayne) Alderks. Grandchildren Adam (Janna) Erickson, Amy (Billy) Lewis, Ashley (Chad) Hoover, Bryce (Amy) Alderks, Kelsey (Peter MacLaughlin) Alderks, and Cassie (Ryan Horihan) Alderks. Great Grandchildren Brayden, Owen, Camden, Landon, Josslynn, Jade, Aubrey, Tatum, Avery and Dylan.

Private family services will be held. Memorials in her honor are established for Monroe Center Cemetery.
