Beverly Browning Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pearson Funeral Home on Sep. 12, 2024.
It is with deep sorrow yet unwavering hope in the promises of God that we announce the passing of Beverly Ann Browning, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who was called home to be with the Lord on September 11, 2024, at the age of 71.
Born on August 23, 1954, Beverly lived a life marked by humility, grace, and a steadfast commitment to her faith in Jesus Christ. A devoted mother, she is survived by her three sons, Michael, Jesse, and Matt, who each loved her dearly and were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. She raised them with love, guiding them with her strong faith, and instilling in them the values of hard work, kindness, and a heart for others. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored.
Beverly lived a life of simplicity, choosing to focus not on material wealth, but on the riches of God's grace and the joy of serving others. Her hard work ethic was known to everyone who crossed her path, as she faithfully labored in all things-whether caring for her family, working to support her household, or serving her community-always with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit of humility. She was a faithful follower of Christ, and her unwavering faith carried her through life's trials and tribulations. Those who knew her could always count on her to speak of God's goodness and share the love of Christ with everyone she met. She was an example of a life lived for the Lord, and her gentle spirit touched the hearts of many.
Though her family grieves her passing, they take great comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, resting in the arms of her Savior whom she loved so deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and quiet strength that will live on in the lives of her children and all those blessed to have known her.
A celebration of her life will be held from 4:00pm – 7:00pm on Saturday, September 14th at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville, KY 40207, where friends and family will gather to remember her beautiful life and the love she shared with all who knew her.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to First Church of God, 4408 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40220, continuing her legacy of service and faith.
Arrangements under the direction of Pearson's,

To The Bowlds/Browning Family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I didn´t know Bev very well but Bridget always spoke highly of her and I met her a few times at celebrations and funerals alike. Gracie Mae as I call her (Bridget´s cat) loved Bev and we all know pets and children sense good people. May God soon replace your grief with fond memories and comfort knowing she is with The Lord - no pain and no suffering or sorrow. You will see her again one day but until then talk about good times, what kind of person she was, trust in God and know he has her in his arms now.
With Deep Sympathy,
Michelle and Jim Kunz

I will forever remember Beverly walking the neighborhood with her little dog. Always waving with a little nod as she passed by the house. God bless the family. I´m so sorry for your loss.
