Beverly Kay Buxton

Beverly "Bev" Buxton, age 71, passed away on May 21, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Lloyd and Caroline Nace.
Bev was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her six grandchildren and her great-granddaughter, and was very excited to see another great-granddaughter coming in October.
A talented crafter, Bev enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for those she loved. She also found peace and happiness in reading and quiet moments.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Michael H. Buxton; children, Michael (Esther) Buxton, Jason (Sandy) Hooper, and Linda (Tadd) Garland; grandchildren, Nicole (Andrew), Dustin (BreeAnn), Dillan, Alexandria, Emma, and Avery; and great-grandchildren, Amelia and Annabelle (due in October).
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, May 23, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family will be gratefully accepted.
Bev's warmth, creativity, and deep love for her family will be dearly missed.
