Beverly Cruise Creighton

Creighton- Beverly Cruise Creighton, age 81, of Lawtey, Florida passed away on November 14, 2023, at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Starke, Florida, with her loving family by her side. Beverly was born on April 14, 1942, in Brady Lake, Ohio to the late Alva A. Cruise, Sr. and Ruth Ann Weyrick Cruise. Beverly was raised in Ohio and graduated from Brunswick High School. Shortly after graduating, Beverly married the love of her life, Paul Creighton on August 10, 1963, and together they shared 60 beautiful years. In 1972, Beverly and Paul relocated to Homestead, Florida for a few years and made Bradford County their forever home in 1984. Beverly was a devoted Christian an active member of Highland First Baptist Church where she loved to fellowship, worship her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, sing in their choir, and perform solos. She was a happy woman, always singing or whistling, and loved to keep her home clean. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting crosses and spending time with her loved ones. Beverly was a doting wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Paula Ralston; brother; Alva Cruise, Jr.; brother-in-law, Chuck Hunter.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Paul Creighton of Lawtey, FL; children, Diane (Rick) Hart, Michael (Lola) Creighton, Connie (Raymond) Williams, Christine Taylor, John (Joy) Creighton, Stephanie (Gilbert) Barrett; brothers, Ronald Robert (Linda) Cruise and Kenneth R. (Delta) Cruise; sisters, Ruth A Hunter, Patricia (Tom) Jackson, Barbara Bailey, Linda (Matthew) Suvegas; sister-in-law, Joyce Cruise; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Beverly's Life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 11:00 am at Highland First Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Wiseman Officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 am at the church. Interment will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 11:00 am at Lawtey Cemetery.
