Beverly Dawn Darnell

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Dawn Darnell, who peacefully left this world on February 3, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Woodward, Oklahoma, Beverly was the beloved daughter of Avis Margaret and John Charles Hazelbaker. She grew up in Camargo, Oklahoma, attending Camargo Public Schools before continuing her education at Southern Nazarene University.
Beverly had a dynamic career, working as a buyer at House of Elegance, in optical sales, and as a talented jewelry designer. She was also a dedicated homemaker, always prioritizing the love and care of her family.
Family was Beverly's greatest joy. She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Don Darnell, until his passing in 2017. She is survived by her loving siblings, Jim (Blanche) Hazelbaker and Wayne (Debbie) Hazelbaker; her children, Steven (Amber) Browning of Blanchard and Krista Browning of Norman; her stepchildren, Marcie (Scott) Webb of Yukon and Debbie (Tracey) Baird of Tulsa; and her cherished grandchildren, Cali Hook, Addison Browning, Carson Browning, Braydon Webb, Hannah Webb, Zachary Baird, and Halle Baird. Her love and devotion to family created a lasting bond that will be treasured forever.
Beverly was a woman of faith and kindness, giving her time to various organizations, including Norman Regional Health System. She was known for her warm spirit, unwavering generosity, and dedication to those she loved. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A come-and-go celebration of Beverly's life will be held on Saturday, February 15th, from 2-5 PM at 3109 Summit Crossing Parkway, Norman, OK, 73071. Friends and family are invited to share memories and stories in her honor.

Though she is no longer with us in body, Beverly's spirit of love, kindness, and faith will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. She is now at peace, reunited with those who went before her. Rest in peace, Beverly. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
