Beverly Louise Dixon, 69 , of Bellefontaine, passed away at 5:32 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Bellefontaine on July 20, 1953, to Valorie (Deslandes) Taylor and the late Jesse Williams. On February 14, 1976, she married Bill Dixon who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three children: Damon Dixon of Bellefontaine, Darren Dixon of Bellefontaine, and Dallas “D.J.” (Rebecca) Dixon of Bellefontaine; six grandchildren: Blaze and Zane Warren, Ava, Alissa, Aaliyah, and Isaiah Dixon; a great-grandchild, Jaxon Warren; ten brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Beverly loved going to sporting events to support her grandchildren as well as her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and going to the casino.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Pastor Gary Brown will officiate a funeral service on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown Avenue, Bellefontaine. Burial will follow in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Bev, I will miss you forever. You were the definition of a true friend and you meant so much to me. I will always love you and thank you for all you did in my life. You were there when I was very alone inside. You have no idea what that meant to me. I hope when it's my time that I will have the privilege of seeing you again and playing some slot machines with you up there.
My very sincere condolences to all of her family, Helena, the boys, grandkids, and everybody in her family. Her loss is huge for everybody. To the family, we are here for you for whatever your needs might be.
