Beverly Fullen Emmrich

Mebane, NC- Beverly F. Emmrich, 75, died at Compass Healthcare Facility on Monday December 9, 2024. She was born on December 3, 1949, to the late Weller "Whitey" B. Fullen Jr and Lois D. Fullen.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Jenny Mayes, and her husband Mitch Mayes of Pilot Mountain, NC. Her son Rob Foy, and his wife Kathy Foy of Mebane, NC. Husband Manfred Emmrich of Morrisville, NC. Stepdaughter Lisa Humphries and her husband Rob Humphries of Hillsborough, NC. Stepson Adam Emmrich of Albuquerque, NM. Her three brothers, Mike Fullen, and wife Caroline Fullen of Webster, NY, Pat Fullen and wife Sharon Fullen of Wellington, OH, and Kelly Fullen and wife Laurie of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Her Grandchildren Ryan Foy, Morgan Foy, Mac Humphries, Cate Humphries.
Bev's greatest joy was being a nurse and helping others for over 30 years. A graduate of Roanoke Memorial in 1970, she went on to work oncology at Duke University. She was always very excited to hear/tell stories and see/ share pictures of family and friends from near and far. From Mebane to Mt Airy to Webster to Wellington.even as far as Iowa. She loved all the little ones and was amazed to see how all the families had grown over the years.
Bev was so very proud of where she came from in WV. So many people touched her life growing up and she never forgot that. She always had a story to tell! We will miss her dearly.will always remember that smile and that laugh! We love you Mom!
A celebration of life service will be held at St. Johns Methodist Church 20008 Seneca Trail Union, WV 24983 on February 8, 2025. Friends and family may visit from 230- 330, followed by a short service by Pastor Gene Fullen, We will then gather next door to enjoy food, stories, and laughter.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial contributions may be sent to St Johns Methodist Church Union 20008 Seneca Trail, Union WV 24983.
