Beverly Gross Obituary
Born on May 6, 1947, in Kennedy Township, Pennsylvania to Charles and Elinda Leydig, Bev was the second of three daughters. She attended Montour High School and was active in band.
Bev had an impressive career at Mellon Bank, starting out as a mailroom clerk and bank teller, eventually rising to the well-deserved level of Vice President. Highlights included her role as Officer at Mellon Bank's Datacenter and her intensive work with the development of the country's first CashStream ATM machines.
A patient, supportive and engaged mother and grandmother, she was never one to miss a game, always quick to give tips about a batting stance or the effort being displayed on the field. Her strong belief in and support of the importance of higher education was unparalleled.
She is survived by her son Bryan, his wife Lauren and grandson Charles along with her sisters Charlene Low and Karen Hiller and brother-in-law Dr. William Hiller, as well as nephews Arthur Low, Andrew Low and Chris Hiller.
At Bev's request, a private memorial will be held at a date to be determined.

remembering Beverly, as a delightful lady! We enticed her into playing BINGO, which she really wasn't cray about doing. Bev won her first day. Miracles do happen; she was hooked! Beverly ate dinner w/ us as often as she was able. She was a favorite with all of us.She is missed and we are sad for our loss. Bryan and Lauren ..sympathies. Know also that love never dies!
I'm Jen Shaw, the only one at our table w/ oxygen. Bev was quick to remember everyone's name after day one. I'm proud to caller my friend!
