Beverly Jean Hardy
Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Hoyt Nursing Home & Rehab, with her family at her side. At the age of 76 years.
The daughter of the late Jack William and Madelyn Mae (Starr) Hulme, Bev was born on December 5, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the class of 1968. Bev was a devoted homemaker who took great joy in caring for her family. She also worked with Saginaw Township Tiny Tots, where she loved looking after little ones. In her free time, she enjoyed word searches, crossword puzzles, playing Bingo, and caring for animals of all kinds. Above all, Bev cherished the time spent with her family.
Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Ireland, Melissa (Phil) Marentette; grandchildren, Corey Hardy, Kyle Hardy, Tyler Hardy, Dylan Ireland, Christian Perez, Brooklyn Leppek, Jacob Ireland, Jenna Ireland; great-grandsons, Baker Hardy, Elijah Ireland; brother, Jack (Sue) Hulme Jr; and the father of her children, Frank Hardy. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loved ones. Besides her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Kangas.
Honoring Bev’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private entombment will take place at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Humane Society of Saginaw County.
