Peter David Weldon

Beloved father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper, with his family at his side. Age 54 years.

The son of the late Thomas Weldon and Laura Jean (Page) Folske, Pete was born on June 4, 1971, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He spent many years as a loyal and dedicated truck driver. Pete also worked as a cook and truly loved being in the kitchen. He enjoyed tending to his garden, especially his collection of garden gnomes. In his spare time, he collected painted decorative plates, often featuring intricate designs, with eagles being his favorite. Above all, Pete cherished the time spent with his family, especially his children.

Surviving are his children, Timothy Weldon, Faith Weldon; brother and sister, Tom (Tina) Weldon, Tammy (Jimmy) Yousif; the mother of his children, Lisa Weldon. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his stepfather, Louis Folske.

Honoring Pete’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Pete’s Life will take place at a later date to be announced. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603.
