We gather to honor the life and legacy of Beverly Jean Jackson, affectionately known as BJ, who left us on November 22, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on November 5, 1946, BJ filled the world with her warmth and charm from the very start.
A proud graduate of the Lincoln High School class of 1965, BJ dedicated a significant portion of her life serving as a Supervisor for Goodwill Industries. Her commitment to her work was a reflection of her friendly and personable nature, qualities that endeared her to her colleagues and those she served.
BJ had a heart that thrived on connections, especially those forged with her beloved family. She cherished hanging out with her siblings and relished spending time with her host of nieces and nephews, who all held a special place in her heart. These relationships brought her immeasurable joy, moments of laughter, and countless memories that will endure within her family.
In her leisure time, Beverly found solace in the simple pleasures of life: tackling puzzles that challenged her mind, enjoying the timeless tales of westerns on the screen, and immersing herself in games on her phone or iPad. Yet, there was nothing quite like the delight she felt indulging in her favorite Blue Bell ice cream, as sweet as the love she spread around her.
BJ’s vibrant spirit and nurturing personality touched all who crossed her path. Her laughter, kindness, and genuine interest in others will forever echo in the memories of her family and friends. As we remember Beverly Jean Jackson, let us hold fast to the joy she brought into our lives and the love that will continue to shine brightly in her absence.
