Sis. Esterlene Watson, a faithful servant of God, was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is guided by her favorite scripture, John 1:1, which reflects her deep faith and devotion to the word of God. At age 97, Sis. Watson is a living testament of God's grace and mercy.

Sis. Watson graduated from Lincoln High School and furthered her education at the Madam C.J. Walker Beauty College, where she pursued her passion for cosmetology. Following graduation, she worked as a beautician and found great joy and fulfillment in her profession, bringing beauty and confidence to those she served.

In 1968, Sis. Watson became a devoted member of Greater St. James Baptist Church, where she has faithfully served for decades. Her commitment to the church is evident through her extensive involvement in many auxiliaries, including Adult Ushers, Trained Junior Ushers, Naomi Circle, Hospitality Greeter, Tribe Leader, Women's Day Team Leader, Vacation Bible School volunteer, and the Benevolence Committee. She has served a Church Trustee Since 1991.

Sis. Watson is a proud mother of seven children, Leotis, Donald, Herbert, Gwendolyn, Herman, Mylan and Sandra, Twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild. Her life has been marked by love, dedication, and a tireless commitment to her family, church, and community.

Through her faith, service, and unwavering love for others, Sis. Esterlene Watson exemplifies the heart of a true life-long servant of God, leaving a lasting impact on all who know her.
