Beverly Kidd

Fortville - Beverly (Hodgin) Kidd, age 82, of Fortville, passed away on, July 15, 2022, in the comfort of her home. She was born in Indianapolis on July 26, 1939, to Walter and Virginia (Cutler) Hodgin. She graduated from Ben Davis High School.
She worked as a Master Cosmetologist for 10 years before transitioning into office receptionist work until her retirement. Ms. Kidd was an avid enthusiast of water, whether she was swimming, or boating. As well as an enjoyer of knitting, sewing, playing cards, riding motorcycles, and traveling.
She is survived by her children, Richard Spegal, Cynthia Toney, and Beverly JoAnn (Steve) Rutter; daughter in-law, Sara Spegal; siblings, Tom (Tara) Hodgin, Janis Flanagan, and Robin Dion.; grandchildren Nick, Jason, Doug Jr., Elisha, Mason, Logan, Caleb, Cassie, Andrea, and Emily, and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; son Douglas Spegal; son in-law Brian Toney; Brother Walter Hodgin; and sister Karen McKay.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary and Crematory 1484 W. U.S. Hwy 40 Greenfield IN, 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 7:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary.
