CHRISTOPHER BUCKNER Obituary
Christopher Marquis Buckner, son of Christopher Elliott Buckner and Jacqueline D. Proctor, was born November 24, 1984, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The second born, of his siblings he was the only son. An integral member of his large, loving family, he was adored by both family and friends.
He was brought up in a Christian home, and he professed his belief at a young age. At the time of his death, Christopher was affiliated with New Direction Church, where he enjoyed the services and the camaraderie of the members.
Christopher, or "Chris", as he was known to loved ones and friends, received his primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System. He completed his secondary education at Ben Davis High School, in the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township,
"Chris" was industrious and willing to work in many capacities. He was last employed at the Speedway Station at East 16th Street and North Shadeland Avenue.
"Chris", loved partying, skating, and spending time with his family and friends. Truly the "Life of the Party", he enjoyed dancing, singing and cooking.
Christopher Marquis Buckner departed this earthly life June 19, 2025, at the age of forty years six months and twenty-six days. Loved ones who preceded him in death include his mother.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved father, Christopher Elliott (Candace) Buckner; sisters, Talisha Collier, Lindsay Buckner and Crystal Buckner; god-children, Lovely Bucker and LaDon Buckner, other relatives and friends.
