Beverly Lanning Obituary
QUEENSBURY - Beverly A Lanning, 80, of Queensbury, NY passed away on Sunday, June 8 2025. Born in Oceanside, NY, she is the daughter of the late William and Beverly (MacDonald) Moran.
Beverly moved from Long Island to Bolton Landing in 1978, where she and her husband, David, raised their five children. Bev loved her adopted hometown of Bolton and especially adored working alongside Rosalie at Chic's Marina for over thirty years.
Beverly was a strong and fiercely independent woman. She enjoyed road trips with her best friends, cooking, grocery shopping and laughing. Her greatest love was her family; especially her grandchildren. They were everything to her.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, James Lanning; and by her beloved granddaughter, Tessa Colleen Jabaut.
She is survived by her children, Deborah (Lyndon) Sutliff of Maggie Valley, NC, Elizabeth (Michael) Snyder of Greenwich, NY, David Lanning of Queensbury, NY and Colleen (Timothy) Jabaut of Raleigh, NC; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on June 20th at the Bolton Rural Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to High Peaks Hospice or to Tunnel to Towers in memory of Beverly.

My sincere condolences to the Lanning family for the loss of your mother Beverly. Bev, was such a beautiful and especially kind woman. I have many memories of her coming into my families Deli for lunch during all those summers she worked for Chic´s Marina. May she rest in peace and Godspeed to the Lanning family.
