Our mother was born in Shelley, Idaho to Samual Lawrence and Elga Thorne Dial on May 12, 1930. The family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1941. Beverly graduated from Granite High School in 1948. She continued her education at Henegar Business College.
Beverly married James O. Rupp on June 8, 1950. They had 3 children, Erlynn, James Jr and Michael. They were later divorced. She later married John Andreason, Raymond Nelson and Lloyd Duffin, all deceased.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving as secretary of the Sunday School, MIA and Primary. She loved her savior, Jesus Christ, and her Heavenly Father. She also loved her family, grandchildren, and her brothers and sisters. Her life revolved around these people.
Beverly loved to crochet, and many of her family and friends have one of her afghan blankets. She later began crafting Christmas stockings. Over the past 2 years, she made 34 of these beautiful stockings and gifted them to family and friends.
After her retirement in 1992, Beverly spent her time wintering in Yuma, Arizona, and spending her summer in Taylorsville, Utah. She loved her extended family in Arizona and served as the choir president for 10 years.
She met the love of her life, Delbert Gail Larsen, in Yuma, Az, where they worked in the singles program of their church. They married on March 18, 2014 in Yuma, Az. They were sealed in the Rexburg Idaho Temple, and lived in Ririe, Idaho. Gail died 12/23/2020. Beverly spent the next years in Hurricane, Utah, where 2 of her children reside.
Beverly is survived by daughter, Erlynn Wallace (Chuck), 2 sons, James O. Rupp (MaryAnn) and Michael D. Rupp (Becky), 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren, and her dear sister Nancy Cowley.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gail, brothers Grant, Dennis, Leon, Bob and Hal, and sisters Donna, Darlene and Norma.
The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation for those individuals that loved Beverly and cared for her during her life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to a charity of your choosing.
