Beverly J. Pagan Marcy Beverly J. Pagan 78, of Marcy passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Faxton St. Luke's Health Care in New Hartford, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on August 1, 1934 in Utica a daughter of the late James and Mary (Uhrig) Black. On October 26, 1963 in Whitesboro, she was united in marriage to Marcelino Pagan a blessed union of almost 50 years filled with much love and mutual admiration. Beverly was employed with Utica State Hospital retiring in 1987 after 30 years of dedicated service. After her retirement she continued to offer private care to many local residents. She was a member of Historic Old St. Johns Church in Utica. Beverly was a loving wife, Mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and baker who also enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.. She is survived by her husband Marcelino Pagan of Marcy, her children, James Pagan and his wife Connie of Utica, Albie Pagan of Utica, Michael Pagan and his fiancé Mary Vivenzo of Yorkville, Eric Pagan and his wife Melanie of Bayonne, NJ, her beloved grandchildren, James, Sarabeth, Austen, Averie, Tanner, Corey, Danyelle, Britany, Nikki, Raina and Shyanne. She also leaves 5 great grandchildren, a sister, Shirley Arlotto of New Hartford. She was predeceased by a brother, James Black. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
