Beverly Ann Parrish

January 8, 1938 - January 13, 2026

Beverly Ann Parrish, age 88, of Newell, Iowa died January 13, 2026 at Wel-Life Assisted Living in Alta, Iowa.

Funeral service will take place Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Redmond Memorial Chapel in Redmond, Oregon. Burial will be in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Powell Butte, Oregon.

Bev was born January 8, 1938 in Bend, Oregon to Lou and Myrtle (Letson) Cosler. She was an only child and attended Nursing School in Portland, Oregon where she met her husband, David Joseph Parrish.

On June 7, 1958, Bev was united in marriage to Dave. To this union, three children were born: Joanne, Mike and Mark.

Bev loved raising a family and being a wife and mom. She was a lifetime member of the NRA. She enjoyed watching football games with her husband, camping and going on Jeep runs with the family, bowling and reading. She also enjoyed watching Marty Stuart and Porter Wagoner shows, Fox News or the abundant wildlife (elk, deer, rabbits, coyotes and birds) as well as their horses at their acreage in Powell Butte. She also spent many hours driving her kids to soccer matches or horse shows. Sunday was always a special day that frequently included church, a large home cooked breakfast and bloody mary's. Sunday dinner was often a special home cooked meal of Prime Rib. Like her mother, Bev was an accomplished seamstress often making clothes for herself or her family. She also enjoyed embroidery, cross stitch and needlepoint.

Above all else, Bev treasured time with her family.

Left to cherish Bev's Memory include her children: Joanne (Doug) Peters of Newell, Iowa; Mike (Sue) Parrish of Camano Island, Washington; Mark (Linda) Parrish of Colville, Washington; 9 granchildren; Brian, David, Amanda, Jamie, BJ (Brian), Kristin, Chad, Mike and Lindsey; 12 great grandchildren; Vivianne, Mason, Cooper, Nora, Leslie, Finn, Luca, Arlo, Bo, Wade, Bristol and Tenley.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Lou and Myrtle Cosler and her husband Dave Parrish.
