Beverly K. Rayborn, 67, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 16, 1957 in Carmi, IL, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Charlene (Rush) James. Beverly married Benton Allen Rayborn and together they have enjoyed forty years of marriage.
Beverly will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. Her creativity and resourcefulness knew no bounds-she had a remarkable talent for turning the simplest materials into something beautiful and useful. One of her greatest joys was building a playhouse for her grandchildren, a testament to her love and creativity.
Beverly had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and embraced an active lifestyle. Whether she was camping, enjoying a game of golf, playing a spirited game of pickleball, or simply enjoying nature, she lived life to the fullest. Her energy, warmth, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Beverly will be remembered by her husband, Benton Rayborn; daughter, Lindsay Haynes and husband, Chris; seven grandchildren, John Robinson, Benton Robinson, Chase Travous, Bella Haynes, Kenzie Haynes, Cassie Rayborn and Iris Rayborn; brother, Donnie (Nancy) James; sisters, Kathy Holloman, Cerissa Waddington, and Charlotte (Bill) McGarrh; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Gale Rayborn; grandson, Larry Allen Rayborn; sister, Jacqueline James.
In keeping with Beverly's wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held at this time.
