Beverly M. Sams

Beverly M Sams, 94 was born on January 15, 1929 and entered into peace on June 21, 2023.
Born in Greeley Colorado, grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she married and raised
seven children.
In 1971, she and three of her children, Judy, Sharon, and Scott moved to Phoenix, Arizona
which led to a new and rewarding career at Arizona Institute of Technology. Starting out as a
secretary and retired as Vice President.
In 1977, she found a new love and married Tom Sams. After she retired as Vice President, they
enjoyed camping, traveling in their motorhome, auto racing, baseball, and socializing with
friends and neighbors. Beverly also enjoyed needlework, reading, yoga, and spending time
with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Tom, her son Steve, her son Scott, her brother
Jerry, her brother Don, and her sister Diane.
She is survived by her beloved sons Daniel Frigard and Jonny Pierson. Her beloved daughters
Dawn Haffely, Judy Schwartz, and Sharon Jeffries. Her legacy includes 10 adored
grandchildren, 16 special great grandchildren, and 3 very special great great grandchildren.
She lived, loved, laughed, and left.

* True to the woman our Mother was, she wrote her own obituary to save the family the pain of
writing it at the last minute.
Our Mom was a vibrant, caring, loving, and giving woman. Her zest for life was contagious.
Her beautiful smile will forever be in our hearts.
