Beverly Sands

Funeral services for Beverly Sands will be held Friday, February 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery of Okemah.

Beverly Sands was born January 23, 1956 to Clarence "C.E" Smith and Eva (Cornell) Smith. She passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70.

Beverly was a lifelong resident of Okemah and attended Okemah High School. Her husband Terry Sands and her children were the loves of her life and she would do anything for them. Beverly was an excellent cook and was known for her pumpkin rolls which she would sell during the holiday season. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Shirley Fairres and four brothers, Clarence "Buzz" Smith, Robert Smith, Larry "Flash" Smith and Gary Smith.

Survivors include her husband Terry Sands of the home; two sons, Jason Thomas and wife Kimmi of Cromwell and Toby Thomas of Okemah; her daughters, Kristin Sands of Okemah, Jennifer Morgan and husband Tracy of Arkansas and Stephanie Greninger and husband Rick of Arkansas; three brothers, Dewayne Smith, Jerry Don Smith and wife Linda and Leon Smith of Okemah; three sisters, Edna "Wee" Carmen, Sue Johnson and Saundra Underwood and husband Frank all of Okemah; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren with two on the way.

Serving as pallbearers will be Toby Thomas, Jason Thomas, Toby Thomas Jr., Dakota Thomas, Leon Smith and Dewayne Smith.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
