Beverly Scott Obituary
Beverly devoted her life to the church and to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved sharing His words with everyone she met and encountered. She completed missions in Asia spreading the word of the Lord.
She was raised by her parents, Thelma Dubiski and Carl Easton. She was a hard worker and did everything she could raising her children. She dedicated her life to education; graduating from Cal State with a bachelor's degree in her later years and pursuing a career in education. She loved educating children in the public and Christian schools. After many years as a teacher, she became a principal in California. Her greatest joy was fulfilled when she became a grandmother, great grandmother, and a great-great grandmother. She enjoyed attending every event she could to support them. She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.
Beverly is survived by her Husband, LeRoy "Scotty" Scott; Children, Gary (Fran) Overholt and Walt (Helena) Overholt; Grandchildren, Carl (Hollie) Overholt, Casey (Kirsten) Overholt, Cary (Kassidee) Overholt, Ash (Aymee) Overholt, Aston (Jessie) Overholt, Robert (Nicole) Scott, and Laura (Roger) Moore; nineteen great grandkids, and one great-great grandchild; siblings, Albert Dubiski, and Elizabeth McGilvary.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family is planning a memorial service this Spring in California, date to be determined. Contact [email protected] if you would like to attend.
