Born, January 29, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bernadine Hinde. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Futrell; second husband, Bud Slone; first husband, Melvin Roberts; son, M. Scott Roberts; and sisters, Virginia Dean and Pat Waters. Beverly had a major passion for photography and the mountains. She enjoyed playing in the senior games and cards with friends and she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved dogs and going to the casino. She was a local business owner having owned the Alamo Motel. Beverly was a beloved mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish Beverly's memory are her daughter, Tammy Hathaway (James); grandchildren, Shane Roberts (Marley), Jessica Merritt (Ben), and Brandy Phipps (Kyle); 6 great grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation.

I met Beverly at the Senior Center Bridge. She was an excellent photographer of which a few hang at the Senior Center. She posted her pictures and when I heard she was ill, I went to her site and looked at every single one she posted ( 200+ ). I wish I had told her more often how great they were. She will be missed! May her family be blessed.

Beverly was a lovely talented Lady. I did get to go to Dollywood with her and have a lunch in Waynesville. We would see each other at The Senior Center. I did not know she was ill until lately. It was a sad day for me.May she rest in peace. With Heartfelt Sympathy, Kate Thurber
