Beverly Kay Staggs, age 70, of Waynesboro, TN, peacefully passed on Monday, September 1, 2025, at her beloved home enveloped by the love of her family. She was born on May 13, 1955, in Wayne County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Hershal and Ethel Earlene Hinton Staggs.
Beverly was united in marriage to Robert Brewer, who preceded her in death on December 20, 2020. Together, they built a wonderful life full of memories.
Beverly attended services at Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro, TN and she embodied the spirit of kindness and generosity. She had a long and fulfilling career, first as a seamstress and quality control specialist at Angelica Manufacturing Company, and later as a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant. Her compassion for others was evident in her work at several nursing homes, including Wayne County Nursing Home and an Assisted Living facility, where she touched countless lives with her nurturing spirit.
To know Beverly was truly to love her. A woman with a heart of gold, she was always ready to lend a helping hand. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, spending hours tending to her yard and nurturing her flower garden. Her home was a sanctuary-always clean, inviting, and filled with the delicious aromas of her cooking. Family gatherings were never complete without her homemade meals, and she delighted in sharing stories and memories, each a cherished moment etched in time.
Above all, Beverly cherished her family. Even in times when she wasn't feeling her best, she made it a point to be there for them, offering her unwavering support and love. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends as they remember the warmth she brought into their lives.
Beverly's legacy is one of love, kindness, and an enduring commitment to family. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
She is survived by her son, Jamie Vines (Nathan) of Killen, AL; brothers, Ronnie Staggs (Louise) of Waynesboro, TN, and Terry Staggs of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Jennah Yarber (Tyson), Jasmine Vines (Will), Kendra Gallaher (Ben), and Makayla Perry; special great grandchild, Madilynn Johnson; great grandchildren, Eli Yarber, Judah Yarber, Evie Yarber, Cora Yarber, Kayonna Gallaher, Nevaeh Gallaher, and Tucker Gallaher; nephews, Colby Staggs, and Ron Staggs; and niece, Chelsea Staggs.
In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Vines; sister, Diane Staggs; brother, Benny Staggs; sister-in-law, Glenda Staggs; and nephew, Nathan Staggs.
