Beverly Suzanne Snyder Talley, 68, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 9, 2025, after an extended illness.

She was born in Trion, Georgia, on June 26, 1956, the daughter of the late Harold and Sue Grimes Snyder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kirsty Suzanne Talley, in 2020.

She was a loving wife and mother and adored her grandchildren. She loved her hummingbirds, who visited every year, and enjoyed sitting on the porch watching her husband plant their garden. She was of the Christian faith and was a Baptist. She was a member of the 1974 graduating class of Trion High School where she excelled in basketball and tennis, and was retired from Bekaert Steel in Rome, GA.

Survivors include her husband, David Luther Talley, to whom she was married for 50 years; her daughter and son-in-law, Marci Banks and her husband Bryan of Calhoun; grandchildren Bryson Talley, McKenzie Talley, and Kaden Banks; sister Wendy Proctor and her husband Chris of Rome; brother David Snyder of Trion; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 12, 2025, at 4:00 PM from Heritage Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Parrott officiating. Burial will follow in Hill City Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Brett White, Justin Whelchel, Bryson Talley, Kaden Banks, Bryan Banks, and Riley Champion.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 12th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Heritage Baptist Church.
