Beverly J. Teague, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 8, 2024 at Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake.
She was born on June 25, 1943, in Alliance, to Laverne E. “Spike” and Evalyn Mae (Woolf) Evans.
Bev attended Alliance High School and was a member of Truth Baptist Church in Atwater.
She dedicated her life as a homemaker to her family and many others. She loved cooking, baking, babysitting, games, puzzles, shopping, crafting, holiday decorating and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Kathy (David) Lack of Fullerton, California; son, Pastor Roy Jack (Sherry) Teague Jr., of Beloit, Ohio; grandchildren, Carl (Vallie) Teague, Melissa (Matthew) Scott, Elizabeth (Steven) Thomas, Joseph (Sarah) Teague, and Dylan and Kelsey Lack; great-grandchildren, Paige and Mikah Thomas, Rachel, Rebekah, Hannah, and Julia Teague, and Madison and Ava Scott; sisters, Sylvia Tasker and Sandra Fargo; brother, Gary (Charlotte) Evans; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Barkley.
Bev was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Roy “Jack” Teague Sr.; parents; brothers, Harold “Harry” Laverne and Lawrence “Larry” Edwin; step-mother, Ellen (Moorehead) Evans; brothers-in-law, Robert Fargo and Al “Butch” Tasker.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roy J. Teague, Jr. officiating.
Friends may call Monday, October 14, 2024 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
