Beverly Ann Tramte

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Tramte (née DeMore, ne Foster) who departed this life on December 29, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in Cleveland on November 15, 1942, Beverly was the beloved daughter of Helen and Joseph DeMore.
She was preceded in death by her cherished son, James J. Foster; her devoted husband, James E. Foster; her former husband, Michael Tramte; and her beloved feline companion, Schroeder. Beverly is survived by her loving daughter, Amy Gardner, and son-in-law, Jason Gardner. She leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Dayna Gardner and Kai Foster, as well as her cherished step-grandchildren, Hailey Gardner (Ben) and Mackenzie Gardner.
A lifelong resident of Lake County, Beverly dedicated her early years to nurturing her family as a devoted homemaker. Her innate compassion and love for children later led her to a fulfilling career as a nanny, where she touched the lives of several families with her warmth and care. In her later years, residing in Mentor-on-the-Lake, Beverly cultivated a life rich in simple pleasures and community connections. She found immense joy in the camaraderie of her neighbors, the serene beauty of birdwatching, the tranquility of gardening, and the companionship of her beloved animals. Her generosity extended to the children of her community, for whom she lovingly baked cookies, earning her the affectionate title of "Grandma Bev" from those she cherished.
Consistent with Beverly's wishes, a formal memorial service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in her honor to the Lake County Humane Society, located at 7564 Tyler Blvd E., Mentor, Ohio 44060. This esteemed organization held a special place in Beverly's heart, reflecting her deep love and compassion for animals.
