Beverly Sue Vaught, 67, of Russellville passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024. She was born December 6, 1956 in Jefferson City, daughter of the late Louis Gieck and Helen (Tipton) Higgins. She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School and attended courses at Lincoln University.
She enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs, listening to music, sampling different foods, and just life in general. The moments she cherished most were the moments she spent with her family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving son, Michael (Stephanie) Corcoran; brothers, Dennis Gieck, Louis Gieck Sr. (Brenda), Gary Gieck; sisters, Jeanette Surface, Carla Johnson (Charlie); grandchildren, Alexis, Taylor, Zachary, and Michael; step-grandchildren, Skylee and E.J. Ayres; great- grandchild, Rae Lynn. She was greeted at Heaven's gate by her loving son, Timothy; brother, Michael Tipton Sr.; her stepfather, Robert Higgins; first husband, Michael Eugene Corcoran.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family c/o Michael Corcoran to assist with future educational costs for her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hartsburg.
