Beverly Bannister Walker

Beverly Bannister Walker passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 19, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother whose life was defined by kindness, quiet strength, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Beverly retired from the Spartanburg County Purchasing Department after years of dedicated service. Outside of her work, she found her greatest joy in family-cherishing time spent together, sharing laughter, and offering gentle guidance and love. She will be remembered as a compassionate and nurturing presence, someone whose warmth made others feel cared for and understood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Furman Bannister; her sister, Libby; and her beloved husband, Jimmie Walker.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Susan Graham, and her husband, Joe Graham; her grandchildren, Cole Addington and Ashlyn Addington (Rashaad Flucker); and her cherished greatgrandchild, Copeland Flucker, who brought her immense joy.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Memory Care Unit at Terra Bella Senior Living in Spartanburg for the exceptional care, compassion, and dignity shown to Beverly during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, an organization that reflects Beverly's gentle and caring spirit.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know and love her.
