With tender hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved Beverly June Wasem, who was born on June 22, 1935. She passed peacefully on February 11, 2025, at Morningstar at Applewood. Surrounded by the love and comfort of family and caregivers, she left us gently at 1 p.m. Beverly's warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her gift for making meaningful connections was felt by all who crossed her path.
For many years, Beverly worked as a receptionist, a role that reflected her deep love for people and her gift for conversation. She proudly served at several respected companies, including Johns Manville and Phillips Petroleum, before retiring as a beloved receptionist and greeter at Cherry Hills Community Church-a place that held a special place in her heart.
A devoted friend and family member, Beverly cherished her lifelong relationships, enjoyed long walks with friends, and always embraced others with open arms and a loving heart. Her spirit was one of acceptance, and she never spoke ill of anyone. Preceded in death by her cherished husband, Robert Wasem, and her son, Michael Wichmann, Beverly is lovingly remembered by her son, Kevin Wichmann and devoted daughter-in-law Karen Wichmann, they carry her memory with endless love and gratitude.
A service to celebrate Beverly's life will be held at the Dixon Chapel at Cherry Hills Community Church, a place of solace and connection for her. Please join us to celebrate her legacy of kindness, compassion, and the joy she brought to others on Tuesday, March 4th at 1:00 pm.
Rest in peace, dear Beverly. Your love and light will forever remain with us. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with the world.
