Bharat C Patel

Bharat C. Patel, age 62, of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center. His vibrant spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born on January 7, 1963, in Sunav, Gujarat, India, Bharat was the beloved son of the late Chandrakant and Madhubhen Patel. He embarked on a new chapter in 1982, immigrating to New Jersey. He later resided in Parsippany before making Basking Ridge his home in 2001.
An entrepreneurial soul, Bharat demonstrated a strong drive and business acumen throughout his life, culminating in owning multiple businesses.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Bharat embraced life with enthusiasm. He found joy on the golf course and was a devoted fan of the New York Giants, passionately cheering them on.
Bharat's greatest joy, however, came from his family. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Neela Patel; his cherished daughters, Nipa and her husband Vijay Patel, and Isha and her husband Kishan Patel. He was the adored Dada to his granddaughters, Leela and Navya, who brought immense light and laughter into his life. He is also survived by his brothers, Rajendra Patel and his wife Mina, and Atul Pate and his late wife Jigisha Patel; and his sister, Kovshika and her husband Mahendra Patel.
A time to celebrate Bharat's life and share memories will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 1012 Valley Road, Gillette, NJ. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:45 AM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow for immediate family only.
