Bigie Cavin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home - Chambersburg on Aug. 18, 2024.
Bigie Lee Cavin, 55, of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania passed away August 8, 2024. He was born on April 3, 1969, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Dixie and Frenchie Affeldt.
Bigie was a caring, funny and smart man. He cherished every moment spent with his family and surrounded himself with as much love as he could. He was passionate about Truck Driving, helping family members out, loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and listening to oldies. He loved making his daughters laugh. Bigie and his brothers were barely separated, he loved his mother and father and all his family. He grew up around a loving family and spent time playing ball, playing in the woods, building forts, fishing, crabbing, riding bikes, roller skating, skateboarding, bowling, shooting pool, going to the movies, and so much more. He was a proud Navy veteran.
In addition to his parents, Bigie is survived by his children, Bailey, Cassie, and Brittnee Cavin, his brothers Scott Davis and Albert Affeldt, his sister in-laws Sherry Davis and Tashia Affeldt, his nephews Kipp Bingaman and Dametreise McClung, and his nieces Beth Bingaman, and Emma Affeldt. He is also survived by his loving aunts, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by Stephanie Cavin, his Grandparents, several Aunts and Uncles, and many cousins.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
