Born in Detroit, Michigan, to Cynthia and William Alexander, Bill later made his home in Anchorage, Alaska. He was known for his kind spirit, strong work ethic, and the steady presence he brought to everyone around him. Bill worked for many years as a mailman and truck driver, quietly serving his community with dedication and heart.
A lifelong musician, Bill played the drums for his church for much of his life-a role he cherished and carried out with joy and humility. His rhythms became part of the fabric of the congregation, a testament to his quiet but profound contribution.
Bill was a devoted son and a great big brother. His loyalty, generosity, and love for his family never wavered. He brought warmth and comfort into the lives of those who knew him.
He was cremated, as per his wishes, and no formal funeral was held. Though gone, his memory lives on-in music, in laughter, and in the hearts of all who loved him.
