Billie Carrol Beegle, known affectionately as Bill, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on October 9, 1936, in Gideon, Missouri, Bill was a man whose life was marked by a deep commitment to his family, his country, and his passions.
Bill's journey began as the cherished son of George and Ada Beegle, who, along with his siblings Austin "Gene," Barbara, and Jack, have since passed. His legacy continues through his beloved wife Jeanie, his devoted sons Lonny (Terry) Beegle and Randy (Karen) Beegle, daughter-in-law Mary Jane, his caring sister Patricia (Robert) Pike, and his adoring grandchildren Billy (Tiffanie), Krystal (Dustin), Karla, Wesley (Becky), Brittany (Kris), Jeffrey, and his precious great-grandchildren Khole, Kash, Couryion, Preslee, Rexford, Jaxson, Lexington, Michael, Michelle, Makayla, Maddox, Ember, Finn, and Sawyer. Though his son Terry preceded him in death, Bill's love for his family knew no bounds and will be felt for generations to come.
Bill proudly served his country as a member of the United States Airforce before embarking on a fulfilling career at General Motors truck and bus, from which he retired in 1991. His work ethic and dedication to his role were exemplary, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
A devout Christian, Bill's faith was a guiding light throughout his life, providing him with strength and comfort. His belief in kindness and generosity was evident to all who knew him, and he lived his life as a testament to these values.
An avid outdoorsman, Bill found solace and joy in the great outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, or simply tending to his yard. His hands were rarely still, as he was also an enthusiast of working on older cars, a hobby that allowed him to share his knowledge and skills with others. Known as a jack of all trades, Bill could fix or build almost anything, a talent that he generously used to help family and friends.
Bill's character was the epitome of loving, handy, and generous. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back without a second thought, and his presence brought warmth and light into the lives of those around him. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.
