Mr. Bill Anderson Guyton

Mr. Bill Anderson Guyton, age 84, of Watkinsville, GA died Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Guyton was born in Atlanta to the late Bill Anderson and Lucille Lively Guyton. He served in the National Guard and was retired from the city of Atlanta as a resource manager. Mr. Guyton loved the University of Georgia and Atlanta Braves; as well as, working in the yard and traveling-especially to the beach. In addition to his parents, Mr. Guyton was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Guyton; and brothers, Don Guyton and Frank Guyton.
Mr. Guyton is survived by his wife, Marie McEntire Guyton of Watkinsville; son, Vince Guyton (Savannah) of Jefferson; daughter, Shelley Edwards of Athens; stepdaughters, Jennifer Litle (Kevin) of Canton and Shannon Medders of Commerce; sister, Linda McNees of Decatur; and grandchildren, Chloe, Easton, Vivian, Clover, Landon and Sydney.
Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Friday, November 17 graveside at Grey Hill Cemetery with Rev. Russ Brown officiating. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers donate to your local food bank.
