Bill Parrott, 72, of Peoria, passed away on March 27, 2025 in auto accident with his son Brad in Davidson Co., TN.
Bill was born January 29, 1953 in Peoria to the late William and Frieda Elam Parrott. He was married to Shelly Schmitt Parrott from 1975 until 2004.
He is survived by his son, Brock (Heather) Parrott; his grandchildren, Baylee Parrott, Stella Kimble, Payton Parrott, Nova Parrott, and Tripp Parrott; his daughter in law, Erin Parrot; his siblings, Bob (Vickie) Parrott, Barry (Tammy) Parrott, and Belinda Parrott; and his nieces and nephews.
Bill was a sports super fan, especially for the Bears and Cubs. His number one favorite team was whichever team his grandkids were playing for; he loved watching them play. For 50 years, he made an annual trip to Chetek, WI to fish, often with his sons. He also worked for MultiAd in Peoria for over 30 years. Bill's passion for sports, his easygoing nature, and his love and support for his grandkids will be his legacy.
Family will receive friends from 3-7:00pm Friday, April 4, 2025 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Please wear apparel from one of Bill's favorite teams.
A service to honor his life will begin at 11:00am Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Peoria. Additional visitation will be from 10-11:00am on Saturday, April, 2025 at the church. Following cremation rites, private inurnment will be at Lutheran Cemetery.
