Billie Jean Baker,87, departed this walk of life on November 4, 2023. Billie was long time resident of Lexington, Kentucky. Billie was born on May 17, 1936 to the late Raymond and Eliza Couch.
Billie was a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Billie was a beautiful woman that will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Billie loved dancing, music, horses, gardening, and old cars.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Eliza Bailey Couch; one brother, Jimmy Couch; one sister, Jackie Dixon; one grandson, Kevin Terrell; one great granddaughter, Hannah Baker.
Billie is survived by two sons, Charlie Baker of Smilax, Kentucky; and Steven Baker of Leatherwood, Kentucky; one daughter, Glenna Kaye Baker of Hazard, Kentucky; two brothers Tommy Couch of Wooten, Kentucky; and Glen Arnold of Middletown, Ohio; five grandchildren Charlie Glen Baker, Jaime Baker-Moore, Amanda Powers, Celena Baker, and April Hipsher-Mattingly; and twelve great grandchildren, Cameron Baker, Gage Evans, Hallie Baker, Brenlee Baker, Steven Moore, Brendan Moore, James Moore, Annabell Sergent, Remington Powers, Kelsey Baker, Shane Gamble, and Savannah Mattingly.
Graveside service will be November 18, 2023 at the Melton Cemetery in Hyden, Kentucky at 1:00 PM.
All friends and family are welcome to attend.
