Billie June Fuller Cooper, 92, of
Atoka, OK, passed away peacefully at home on August 22, 2025. Born on July 14, 1933, in Black Jack, OK, to Selma Anderson, raised in Bentley as the oldest of three siblings. A devoted member of Bentley Baptist Church, she embodied a spirit of love and faith that touched all who knew her.
Billie June was a passionate cook, and her family and friends will remember her legacy of love and joy through the cherished memories of her many family gatherings. She first married Clois Fuller, with whom she shared over 40 wonderful years. Later, she united with the love of her life, Luther Cooper, and they enjoyed thirteen years together filled with laughter, love, and adventure. One of their favorite pastimes was traveling in their RV to Branson, where they delighted in music and each other's company.
Billie June is preceded in death by her mother, Selma Anderson; her brothers, Leon and Richard Anderson; her sister, Vickie Cole; her niece, Tammy Cole; her nephew, Johnny Cole; and her two husbands, Clois Fuller and Luther Cooper.
Survived by her nieces, Kim Bradshaw and husband Mike of Crandall, TX, and Debbie Cole of Pottsboro, TX; her nephews, Steve Anderson of Kaufman, TX, Michael Anderson of Georgia, and Robert Anderson of Sherman, TX; as well as great nieces and nephews, Dalton and wife Heather of Eustace, TX, Dillon Good and wife Dakota of Greenville, TX, Lily and Dovie Bradshaw of Frisco, TX, and great-great nieces and nephews, Daylen, Cade, Ellie Good, Teagan Deweese, Eleanor Good, and Emma Anderson. Her best friend and beloved companion, Gypsie-whom she affectionately calls Sissie-is lost, and her heart aches as she desperately misses her dear friend.
Billie June's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Hospice Plus, especially Ashley and LaCresha, for the exceptional care during her final days. We are truly thankful for Kendra Temple's remarkable attention and comfort, and to May's Home Health staff-Melissa, Heather, Freida, and others-for their dedication and kindness during her time in Oklahoma. Our sincere appreciation goes to Brown's Funeral Home for the service, and to Bentley Baptist Church for their thoughtfulness. Your kindness has made a lasting impact.
Billie June Fuller Cooper will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her unwavering love, faith, and the warmth she brought to all our lives.
As we remember Billie June, we are reminded of the words from Scripture: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." – 2 Timothy 4:7. Now, her race is complete, and she rests in the eternal joy of the Lord.
