Billie Coyle Obituary
Mrs. Coyle was born in Madison County on July 26, 1931, to Ezekiel and Margaret Elam Payne. She married Wade Hampton "Hamp" Coyle and raised their two sons, Wade H. Coyle II and Harold Wayne Coyle together until Hamp's death in 1998. They owned and operated the Bel-Air Motel and the Bluegrass Motel. They also owned and operated Coyle's Grocery along with another small grocery store in Irvine. Billie was a devout Christian who attended Union City Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday School.
Survivors include her grandson: Bobby (& Helena) Coyle, two great-grandsons: Josh (& Anna) Coyle and Justin Coyle, a sister-in-law: Sue Payne and two nieces: Kay (& Richard) Schennberg and Karen Payne.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Coyle was preceded in death by both children: Wade and Wayne, her brothers: Harold Payne and Bobby Payne and one great-grandson: Chris.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
The funeral will follow at 1:00 PM Saturday with Bro. Greg King officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. www.cpcfh.com
