Billie Fetterhoff Obituary

Visit the Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Warsaw website to view the full obituary.

Billie Jean Fetterhoff, 96, of Warsaw, Indiana, met the Lord with grateful and open arms on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Born on January 8, 1929, in Meridian Mississippi to Thomas and Ina Hardy, Billie graduated from Bob Jones University and, in 1952, married the love of her life, Dean Fetterhoff. Dean and Billie shared a life of service to the Lord together for over 73 years, finding no greater calling than that of Matthew 28:19 - “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Throughout nearly a century, Billie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and foremost, a follower of Christ. Her passion for her faith and family made her a light in uncountable lives and helped to inspire those who knew her to pursue Christ in the unceasing fashion that she and Dean shared. Her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and unwavering loyalty to her family and husband helped to build three generations of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who seek to follow the example that she and Dean provided them. She is remembered with great love by her husband Dean; her sons Robert and Richard Fetterhoff, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Billie was a longtime member of the Grace Church of Greater Atlanta, where Dean first served as senior pastor, then later as pastor of seniors and missions from 1973-2007. Throughout her life with Dean and her family, Billie served the Lord faithfully and found deep joy in prayer, evangelism, and worship music - specifically classic hymns. In her daily life she prioritized her faith and family above all else and found that her highest calling was as a wife and mother dedicated to building and supporting her family through all stages of life. As a spouse, she provided council and support to Dean. As a mother, she provided wisdom and guidance to Robert and Richard. As a grandmother, she supplied her entire family with endless laughs, love, and a godly example admired and followed. Most importantly, as a faithful servant of God, she was unfailing in her study and representation of his word.

Billie was preceded in death by her siblings, Ouida Hardy Graves, Thomas (Bud) Hardy, Jr., and Steve Hardy. A service celebrating Billie’s life and her welcoming into the embrace of her Savior will be held at Winona Lake Grace Church in Winona Lake, Indiana at 11 AM on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. She will be laid to rest at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster, Ohio with a place reserved next to her for Dean, as they await the resurrection of their bodies at the return of Christ. Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN and Roberts Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Billie’s memory to the non-profit ministry founded by her son, Robert: Walk the Bible, 912 Douglas DR, Wooster, OH 44691 www.walktheBible.org.
